Fountain Records was founded in 2011 by Michael Monte.

A native of Detroit, MI, he aims share his own experiences of both music and the city itself by exploring new channels of collaboration and ignoring perceived limitations.

By celebrating the tradition of vinyl without a fear of technology. 

Fountain Records' goal is to bring Detroit to the World and the World to Detroit.  

He knows that Berkley is not Detroit.
